The front frieze with acorn leaves and swimming dolphins, usually attributed to the coat of arms of Waterford, the bulbous stem and base covered with shamrocks, the entire resting on four well defined lion paw feet, mid Victorian (Auctioneers note: A very similar Killarney Wood table to this was sold in our June sale of 2008 and achieved a price of €12'000, however in estimating the valuation of this table I must decrease the estimate somewhat due to the fact that on the inner leaf there is a visible split, however it really does little to deflate its price and an estimate of €8'000 - €10'000 is highly justified. €8000~10000
